(CABLE, Wis.) September 5, 2016 The Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association is excited to present its first Women’s Weekend – a gathering of women from around the region to learn how to be better mountain bikers while enjoying each other’s company on and off the trails.
The CAMBA Women’s Weekend will take place Friday–Sunday, September 9-11 in Seeley, Wisconsin. Limited to 40 participants, the clinic is geared to beginner and intermediate level riders. The cost for the weekend is $80, which does not include lodging.
Most of the weekend’s organizational and social gatherings will take place at the Sawmill Saloon in Seeley with skills sessions at the OO Trailhead, three miles east of Seeley and nearby trails.
The weekend kicks off on Friday with an optional group ride from the OO Trailhead at 5:30 pm, followed by a Meet & Greet gathering at 7:30 pm at the Sawmill Saloon.
Saturday’s activities include yoga and stretching, skills and drills, lunch, and on-the-trail learning and will wrap up with an evening educational session.
The weekend finishes up on Sunday with a morning group skills development ride to an on-trail breakfast.
