December in Marquette is sure to bring joy in unpredictable ways. With just a few inches of powder the skis and snowshoes stayed in the car, but there was just enough snow to smooth out the edges on the NTN North Trails for a miraculous fat bike weekend. Candy Jenkins, Sonni Klipp and Patrick Ryder explore an icy Dead River gorge.
