Founded in 1995, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle through the sport of running and giving back to the communities we live in and run through. We run year-round, and host many group runs during the week on the Great Western Trail, the Fox River Trail, Fermilab, and neighborhood streets. We welcome all runners, members and non-members, no matter their pace or ability. In addition to group runs, we offer half and full marathon training led by certified RRCA coaches, running education seminars, a race circuit of 12 races, and many non-running social gatherings.
As a non-profit, we hold four races per year benefiting local charities: Great Western Half Marathon for the Special Olympics of Illinois, She Runs the Fox 5K for Mutual Ground, Summer Sunset 5K for the FRTR scholarship fund, and Fox and the Turkey for the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry.
