Debuting: Wisconsin Triple Crown Cycling Series

Posted

The inaugural Wisconsin Triple Crown Endurance Cycling Series, presented by Pactimo Custom Cycling Apparel, launches in 2011 with a full summer of road cycling challenges. Three stages are planned for the series with 50K to 300K courses on the beautiful back roads of southwest Trempealeau, Vernon and Iowa counties. Series finishers will receive a highly customized Pactimo cycling jersey.

Those athletes who complete equal or increasing distances on all three stages of the series will be awarded a very special high-end cycling jersey produced by Pactimo Custom Cycling Apparel. Each jersey will be personalized with the rider's name and actual distance completed to commemorate the accomplishment. This personalization showcases Pactimo's uniquely flexible and streamlined production capabilities.

"Our minimum quantity for full custom orders is normally five pieces, but when the Wisconsin Triple Crown organizers shared their vision for a series jersey fully customized for each and every finisher I saw it as a challenge that we absolutely had to meet. It's such a great idea and we are pleased to be part of making it a reality," Karl Heidgen, Pactimo's vice president of custom sales, said.

Series operators gain support from community organizations where stages are hosted. Stages serve as fundraising events for the organizations who bring armies of volunteers to aid the cyclists before, during and after each event.

"I am so happy to see our cycling events have such a positive and lasting impact on these rural communities. We are grateful that they have chosen to share their roads with us and we are happy that we are able to give back," series operator Don Curtis of Spree Touring said.
