Over the weekend is was warmish here, with lowering snow levels so we headed to the Porkies State Park to hike some trails there instead of skiing. Unsure of the conditions we'd find there we brought small snow shoes along, which were needed only after reaching the top of the summit, as the snow pack was deepest where we descended to return back to the car.
