TEAM BIRKIE BECOMES ITS OWN NON-PROFIT

Team Birkie announced Thursday, July 24th, that it has officially established itself as an independent organization under 501(c)(3) non-profit status.

To date, Team Birkie has existed under not-for-profit auspices of the American Birkebeiner Skiing Foundation (ABSF), and is a three-way partnership with The Loppet Foundation (Loppet) in the Twin Cities and Central Cross Country (CXC).

"Every organization follows its evolutionary path, and Team Birkie is no exception,” said Team Birkie Board President, Yuriy Gusev. “ Team Birkie athletes, coaches, and supporters deeply appreciate ABSF, Loppet, and CXC for launching our regional high-performance team four years ago and for their continued essential financial support and administrative resources that have enabled our success and growth."
