Campaign for Grand Avenue Nordic Center Fall Kickoff Party

The Duluth Cross Country Ski Club (DXC) is excited to announce a Capital Campaign party on Thursday, October 27 at the Grand Avenue Chalet at the base of Spirit Mountain in Duluth, to kickoff our campaign to bring the Grand Avenue Nordic Center(GANC) to life!  GANC will include a state-of-the-art new cross country ski trail at the base of Spirit Mountain with Nordic-dedicated snowmaking, dark-sky LED lighting, flowing trails that are fun to ski for all levels, and a full-service chalet and event center – all coming to Duluth in Fall 2017 with your help!

This kickoff event will be held at the Grand Avenue Chalet, 8551 Grand Avenue in Duluth, on 10/27 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.  Before the event at 4:30 p.m there will be an opportunity for anyone interested to take a guided walk along the proposed new trail.  To help get the party started, The Boomchucks will be playing, and  casual dinner and cash bar will be available.  The event is free and open to the public, and donations will be accepted to help make GANC a reality!  All are welcome.
