Established in 1958, the MCRA works with communities throughout Michigan to promote professional marathon canoe racing.

We host a schedule from April to September consisting of 12 professional race weekends that are open to paddlers of all abilities, in either solo or tandem United States Canoe Association spec racing canoes. The MCRA is a tight-knit community of paddlers that hosts many training weekends and clinics in addition to races, as well as youth programs to encourage development of the sport. Join us for competition, friendship, and growth as a paddler!
